Johnnie L. Cochran, Jr. is the answer to the riddle. Actually, you gave many too many clues.
There is nothing more fun than research.

Johnnie Cochran wrote a book of poetry? Well, maybe so, but his website doesn't open with a gigantic close-up of his face. So Johnnie Cochran is wrong. Now, maybe I confused you, since Johnnie Cochran was the answer to Riddle #1. But the old Riddle #1 clues do not apply to Riddle #2, which is an entirely new, original riddle. Confused? So am I. Try again anyway!

Gerry Spence of the old Gerry Spence show??

Sorry, I did not realize you had two riddles. I solved the first one, came back to your site then simply posted the answer to your then most recent posting, which apparently involved riddle #2. In any case, great idea.
