Barbershop is a worthwhile comedy, filled with interesting characters and good dialogue. Its drawback: not much happens. Though it seems ready-made for a spinoff into TV-sitcomland, its producers are paving the way for endless sequels instead. Barbershop 2 might be only the first.
By the way, despite the category title ("Last Night's Movie"), I actually watched Barbershop last week. At the moment, my life seems too busy for movies . . .
