David Giacalone's weblog ethicalEsq was one of my favorites, and was included in my recent article about weblogs for practicing lawyers. Now David's site has been recast as "f/k/a." Here's how George Wallace of A Fool in the Forest described the change--
For reasons of self-preservation, David has foresworn his roles as ethicalEsq, scourge of unethical lawyers everywhere, and as Prof. YABUT, scourge of just about everyone else. Haiku has been part of the mix on David's pages for some time, but he has now elected to devote his online presence entirely to that gentle art, posting his own work and that of honored guests. Numerous haiku resources are to be found in his sidebar as well.
David's own explanation for his rebirth as f/k/a can be found in his post "Poetry Not Punditry." While I'll miss his punditry, I'll look forward to his poetry. Good luck, David!

thanks mucho, Evan. the best thing about giving birth to haiku? they don't ever need their diapers changed (even when they stink).
so far, going cold turkey from punditry has been a lot easier than resisting the temptation to check my page-hit meter. keeps me humble.
meanwhile, i hope to surf over to your place a lot (and some day have enough energy to hit the SHIFT key on a regular basis).

David: As you know, doing the ee cummings routine is preferable to typing in ALL CAPS.
I look forward to your surfing here.
