Man, that's right on the mark. When you got to that "when I went to law school nearly 20 years ago", it gave me pause. Hey, I went to law school nearly 20 years ago.
Glad to know that I'm not too late for that first $1M.

That's funny, I always tell others that law school beats a sharp stick in the eye. I'm sorry to hear that for you it was a sharp stick. Of course, I went to school after working for a while, and sharp stick or not, law school sure beats work. Although if any of my future employers are reading, I am really looking forward to rejoining the work world, really.

Law school also beats grad school, since you don't have to teach if you don't want to, you have a much better chance of finding a job, and while there are 3L papers, there isn't a major dissertation.

Also, you aren't actually required to become an indentured servant to your professors, and you needn't worry that your law-review article will end up with your prof's name on it.
