DOING AWAY WITH PAPER: AN UPDATE . . . A post I did recently at the Illinois Trial Practice Weblog about my hesitation to do away with paper by going all-digital has received some interesting comments. It seems that at least a few lawyers and law students swear by the all-digital route. Since the jury's still out, please check in and leave a comment if you've had success throwing out the paper. I'm especially interested in hearing about hardware/software solutions that have worked in real-life, busy law practices.

With careful planning plus your help, maybe I'll finally be able to solve the problem created by dealing with my case files in not one, but two offices, plus another office at home. Though I prefer paper in many cases, I don't like to lug it around, especially when my kids are also expecting to ride in my car from time to time. Telling them to make room for themselves by stacking the boxes in the garage just isn't working.
