RANDOM NOTES . . . It's always a good time for some random notes--
--Eric Turkewitz's Personal Injury Law Roundup continues at New York Personal Injury Law Blog. The current version is Personal Injury Law Roundup #17. It's a good resource.
--Voting closes today on the funniest legal weblog contest at Legal Antics. It appears that Phila Lawyer and Above the Law are running away with it . . .
--Turning to this weblog, I changed the tagline from "Where most of the fun is in the comments" to "Lobbing missives from the bunker since January, 2004." The new tagline now appears on every page. The reason for the switch? I was getting hit with so many spam comments every day that I invoked the weblogging feature that requires an account to comment. As a result, comments just aren't that fun anymore . . .
--Finally, I'd like to note that I'm getting a little tired of the band Korn, after having familiarized myself with nearly all their albums in preparation for the opening night of the (ironically-titled) Family Values Tour 2007. It's going to be in St. Louis, and I'm attending with Austin, my 14-year-old son, and some of his friends. I didn't think it made sense for me to subject myself to the concert without preparing myself to recognize the songs, which, of course, makes a concert more enjoyable. Perhaps I peaked too soon, since the concert doesn't happen until July 20. Maybe I'll spend some time learning the music of some of the other bands that will be playing that day, e.g., Evanescence, Atreyu, Flyleaf, Trivium, Hellyeah, Otep, Neurosonic, Five Finger Death Punch and Droid. On the other hand, maybe I won't. There's at least some limit to my exercise of fatherly responsibilities . . .
