NEW FICTION . . . I have a new story up at Staccato Fiction. Title: "The Accident." Theme: The unreliability of childhood memories.

In trying to make this story as unpretentious as possible, I believe I failed to follow many of the rules I recently set down for myself in another recently-published story, "How to Write Damn Good Flash Fiction." This one appeared in Right Hand Pointing's 2010 Humor Issue. 

Please take note: the humor issue. In reality, I have no idea how to write damn good flash fiction. All I can do is try my best.

this was fun to read. I found it peculiar that I wrote about an hour ago a poem which also included crumpled mcdonalds..mine was a yellow crumpled double cheeseburger wrapper. but still.
