The only realistic depiction of a deposition I've ever seen in Hollywood was, interestingly enough, on "ER"--which goes to show that if a medical drama can do it accurately and make it interesting, there's no reason a legal drama can't.

I have to wonder if Motley said "My middle name is not Job" and it was mis-transcribed.

Even if the exchange was dramatized in the movie, it does portray conceptually what Jeffrey Wigand of the movie was dealing with. The movie makes certain arguments and doesn't attempt to be a documentary.
