For seven days only, starting at this moment, it'll be “Rock ‘n’ Roll Week” at the Legal Underground. Snort with derision if you want, but for the next week, the title of each post (including this one) will contain a reference to a genuine rock ‘n’ roll song.
Wait, there’s more. For law students only, if you're the first to identify the reference, your weblog will be featured in the next installment of “How Appealing at the Law Schools.” (As an obsessed blogger, I know that traffic to one's site is the next best thing to cash.) For the rules, continue reading.
Winners will be chosen for each post as follows:
1. Only law students with blogs are eligible. (Special exception for Professor Bainbridge: You can play too, given your love for rock ‘n’ roll.)
2. There's a new chance to win each time I publish a post; simply be the first to identify the reference, including the song title, the band, and the album.
3. To enter, send me an e-mail or post a comment on this site.
After you've won, sit back and wait for Sunday’s “How Appealing at the Law Schools #3,” when your featured weblog will begin to be flooded with traffic (exaggeration is what this blawg is all about); which might lead to an appearance on a local cable channel (be sure to look directly into the camera); which could lead to an interview on the Today show with Matt Lauer (if you’re female, watch out for Matt’s hands); which might lead to a co-starring role with Russell Crowe in a Hollywood feature film (if you’re female, take evasive actions); which might lead to a position in the California government as Gov. Schwarzenegger's assistant (male or female, make up your own jokes); which could lead directly to the White House – and all because you know your rock 'n' roll!
Rock on!
Evan, you're an obsessive blogger, not an obsessed blogger. And, while we're on the topic, Obsessed is a 1990s stoner metal band formed originally in the early 1980s, led by Scott Weinrich. After Weinrich spent time with the pioneers of 1990s stoner metal and related genres, Saint Vitus, he reformed Obsessed and released The Obsessed.

Abnu: I stand corrected. But I wonder why that band didn't call itself "Obsessive" and release an album called "The Obsessors"? Either way, I will be sure to add a few examples of their stoner metal to my CD collection.
