First, they were busted. Then they were placed on the defense team, but only so someone could get the beer. Then they made stellar appearances in How Appealing at the Law Schools #2 and Weekly Law School Roundup #1.
And now, after adding some new members to the cast, Notes from the (1L) Underground has been placed on Professor Smith's "Law Student Blog Honor Roll."
Congratulations to (1L) Underground--its authors are among some great company. But is something wrong with this picture? Honored by someone as respectable as a law professor? C'mon guys, you're going to have to crank it up a notch and become even more bitingly satiric.
aww. we're you're favorite? (well, i suppose "smart-ass" is a somewhat dubious distinction, and necessarily narrows the accolade, but i'll take it as a high compliment, in the spirit it was clearly intended.)
as my associates bacon and pork roll opined not long ago, many thanks are due to you. we'll gladly bring the beer (i personally perfer yuengling, aka "lager" here in philadelphia); i've got a personal relationship with the local distributor that has come in handy on occasion.
argh. i clearly need to hit the stairmaster, as the ol' ass is losing its smart...

PorknBeans: Not to worry, the "distinction" was indeed meant as a compliment.
