But isn't it important that he get a good night's sleep? Afterall, if the lawyer is billing more than $600 an hour for his time, the client wouldn't want him to be in a daze because his mattress was lumpy. That kind of mistake could cost millions. And how else can you check out the condition of a mattress without laying on it?

Should be lying on it, no? ;-) Unless someone has to carry said partner to the bed, and lay him down on it.

But yep, the good night's sleep bit is kinda logical. A tad extravagant, though.
